Santa brought me a couple of truck-related goodies, starting with a new tool wrap to replace the canvas one I was using before. The first one is heavy-duty but fat and unwieldy, and there&#8217;s noplace to put sockets. This one is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Custom-LeatherCraft-1173-32-Pocket-Socket\/dp\/B000KKUTCY\/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1388612007&amp;sr=8-2&amp;keywords=tool+wrap+pouch\">made of heavy nylon and features a socket section<\/a> as well as two sets of pouches, two sturdy cliplocks and a handle for carrying. The second is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Engine-Builders-Handbook-Tom-Monroe\/dp\/1557882452\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1388612057&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=engine+builders+handbook\">a book on engine rebuilding<\/a>, which doesn&#8217;t answer every question but goes a long way to explaining the basic concepts.<\/p>\n<p>I also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/to-do-list\/\">updated the to-do list<\/a>, which hadn&#8217;t been touched since last spring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There hasn&#8217;t been much progress on the Scout front since the fall meetup, but small things have been happening.
