Technically I don&#8217;t need two of them\u00e2\u20ac\u201cmy passenger endcap is dented from the swingarm, and the driver&#8217;s side is OK\u00e2\u20ac\u201cbut it&#8217;s always good to have spares.<\/p>\n<p><em>Update:<\/em> Here are the insides of the red tailcap, as per Neal&#8217;s request in the comments below. The hinge pin for the liftgate is in the top right area. The tailcap is actually a two-piece section that you can see here\u00e2\u20ac\u201c a flat section of steel that is welded underneath the folded edge of the rounded piece. This forms the inner edge of the tailcap.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1877\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4849.jpg?resize=1024%2C768\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4849.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4849.jpg?resize=400%2C300&amp;ssl=1 400w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4849.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4849.jpg?w=2340 2340w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is looking at the back side, where the edges of the inner and outer fenders are welded together and then join with the tailcap.<\/p>\n<p>So Neal, you could probably buy four parts from Super Scout Specialists and weld your own, if you can&#8217;t find a donor scout\u00e2\u20ac\u201cthey&#8217;d be the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.superscoutspecialists.com\/store\/pc-363-48-corner-post-rear-quarter-panel-inner-scout-ii.aspx\">corner post<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.superscoutspecialists.com\/store\/pc-181-48-rear-quarter-taillight-cap-panel-scout-ii.aspx\">tailcap<\/a>.
