I&#8217;m going to do a link dump here so I can close a bunch of browser tabs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holley has a good video on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nM3LRV20l6c\">how to correctly set timing on a distributor<\/a>, which is where I&#8217;m beginning with the Travelall.<\/li>\n<li>This Binder Planet thread goes over some trials and tribulations with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binderplanet.com\/forums\/index.php?threads\/getting-ready-to-try-timing.156575\/#google_vignette\">setting timing on a SV engine<\/a>; from what the people in the know say, 8-15 BTDC is where I want to be.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedrive.com\/maintenance-repair\/39831\/how-to-adjust-a-carburetor\">Here&#8217;s a basic checklist for how to tune a carb<\/a> from The Drive, which is a great place to start.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GxeZkULhFLs\">Thunderhead289 is a YouTube channel<\/a> where the host focuses primarily on how to run and tune carburetors properly. He&#8217;s a friend of another channel I follow and recently introduced a product called <a href=\"https:\/\/thecarbcheater.com\">the Carb Cheater<\/a>, which is a bolt-on digital monitor and tuner for standard carburetors.
