I sent her my payment with a nice note and was immediately rewarded with a pair of lineset scans for the 800.<\/p>\n<p>Archaeology on trucks this old can always be a bit of a toss-up, so I worked with the most obvious visual reference: the body color. A little digging decodes the last full line on the list to 4353YL, or Tahitian Yellow according to the paint chart I&#8217;ve got here. The second bit of info confirms it: This truck was ordered by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/2026\/03\/29\/going-back-to-cali\/\">Allied Equipment Co<\/a>. in Madera, CA on September 1, 1966.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CT-400-D-779x1024-1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5875\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CT-400-D-779x1024-1.jpg?resize=609%2C800\" alt=\"\" width=\"609\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CT-400-D-779x1024-1.jpg?resize=609%2C800&amp;ssl=1 609w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CT-400-D-779x1024-1.jpg?resize=228%2C300&amp;ssl=1 228w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CT-400-D-779x1024-1.jpg?resize=768%2C1010&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.billdugan.com\/scout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CT-400-D-779x1024-1.jpg?w=779&amp;ssl=1 779w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 609px) 100vw, 609px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihpartsamerica.com\/lineset-ticket-decoder.html\">some helpful lists<\/a> to decode the rest of the info, I learned it was built with a IH 196 V4 Canada Export Low Compression engine, T90 Borg Warner 3sp transmission, DANA 27 Power-Lok front axle, Dana 44 Power-Lok rear axle, 10&#8243; clutch, Dana 20 transfer case, cab top, cigar lighter, left armrest, and floor mats. And that was it!
